Windsor Park: Where Community Flourishes
Project Overview
Windsor Park residential subdivision, located in the heart of Charlottetown, is a testament to the effectiveness of thoughtful planning and community-centric design. This development, situated off Royalty Road, Alderwood Avenue, and in close proximity to Sleepy Hollow Road, seamlessly integrates modern living with natural surroundings where the overall design prioritizes the needs of the community.
Key Features
Concept Plan: A concept plan was designed optimizing land use and layout for the development.
Legal Survey Plan:Property boundaries and easements were defined.
Civil Engineering Drawings: Our detailed road construction plans included street design, potable water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems. Underground stormwater piping and mountable concrete curbing ensured functionality and aesthetics.
Phase 2 (2017): Laying the Foundation
Single-Family Dwellings: Phase 2 marked the beginning of our involvement, featuring alluring single-family dwelling lots.
Essex Drive Extension: A portion of Essex Drive Extension was meticulously crafted, enhancing accessibility within the community.
Phases 3, 4, and 6: Semi-Detached Charm
Phase 3 (2020): Another segment of Essex Drive Extension was thoughtfully developed with semi-detached dwelling lots.
Phase 4 (2021): Paddington Avenue Extension and a portion of Aidan Street were constructed.
Phase 5 (2022): Bridget Drive, Neill Drive, and an additional Essex Drive Extension segment contributed to the community’s diversity with single family dwelling lots.
Phase 6 (2023): The remaining portion of Aidan Street and the continued extension of Paddington Avenue further enriched Windsor Park.
Phase 6 (2024): Street C was constructed with additional semi-detached dwelling lots and Kingsburg Avenue Extension was built for single family dwelling lot development.
Stormwater Management and Approvals
City of Charlottetown Approval: We prepared comprehensive stormwater management plans for seeking approval from the city.
Quality Control and Safety: Throughout construction, we ensured strict adherence to design specifications. Regular site inspections maintained safety protocols during pipe installation.
Precision and Infrastructure Marking
Builder’s Level: Inspectors meticulously recorded pipe elevations using builders’ levels.
GPS Layout Services: Infrastructure locations, including water and sewer services, sanitary manholes, fire hydrants, and gate valves, were precisely marked.
Guiding the Approval Process
Survey Pins: Survey markers were placed to mark new lot boundaries throughout the subdivision.
Client Support: We guided the client through the approval process, preparing record drawings and conducting site walkthroughs with governing bodies to ensure a smooth project turnover.
